Enneagram Helping Minimizing Fights One Relationship at a Time
“The Enneagram of Personality, or simply the Enneagram is a model of the human psyche which is principally understood and taught as a typology of nine interconnected personality types (Wikipedia).” I really enjoy Enneagram because it really helps explain why we do what we do. The way we respond to situations, the way we interact with others, and it showcases who you are as a person. There are a few different tests that I recommend:
Your Enneagram Coach: Looks at your results from a Christian perspective
Truity : Quick and free test (took me about 10 minutes)
The Enneagram Institute: Accurate test that gives you amazing insights, however it cost $12

I am a 3w2 (w=wing) meaning I have a little bit of 2 personality but mostly I am a 3. The Achiever. Which honestly was not a shock to me since I have achiever in my top 5 Gallup Strengths results as well. My husband is a 6 with a wing to the 5 (if I had to guess). Understanding both my own and his Enneagram results has been very eye opening. For example, if I noticed that there was something that needed to be done, but no one had told me to do it, I would probably just do it. It is just my instinct to excel and get things done. My husband on the other hand would not do it until someone had told him to. He would be worried that maybe there was a reason it wasn’t done yet and so it wasn’t his place to complete the task. Understanding our differences has made our marriage stronger. We are currently exploring how we can use our Enneagrams to create a better marriage by reading “Becoming Us” by Beth & Jeff McCord (Pre-order the book today!).
